Ceremony
What is the language of the ceremony?
All civil (registrar) ceremonies are in the Czech language and are translated into English (or into your native language). All church ceremonies are automatically in English (or into your native language).
It would be great if we could include something else to be read at the ceremony, together with what is legally required. Is it possible?
Yes, but it must be agreed upon with the priest or presiding power. There are differences between civil and church ceremonies. People can actively participate in the church ceremonies; there can be different readings, songs, etc., but it is necessary to discuss it with the priest before the ceremony. It is not possible to participate actively in the civil ceremonies; there are some standard procedures that must be observed. If you want to have your own speech, you can do it after the change of the rings.
Ceremony Music
What is the ceremony music like?
At most of the ceremonies, there are live pipe organs. There is an extensive play list available for your selection, as well as at some venues, you can supply you own request for what should be played. As an extra option, additional instruments other than organs can be hired.
Ceremony Venues
What venues are available?
MoravianWeddings offers a number of fairy-tale settings: Castles, Chateaux, Historic Cities, Churches, Romantic Night Ceremonies and more! It's up to you to decide, and we do the rest.

Legal Requirements, Documents
Are there any legal requirements in the Czech Republic?
The documents needed for your legal wedding in the Czech Republic vary depending on the type of wedding you will have, your personal status, and your nationalities. In general, a valid passport, new birth certificate, and letter stating you are free to marry are the bare necessities. Please inquire for the exact details based on your particular situation. You must also arrive at least 3-4 days before your wedding - for a Thursday, Friday or Saturday wedding, the bride and groom must arrive to the Czech Republic at least the Tuesday evening before the wedding. Please confirm with your personal wedding coordinator before purchasing your tickets.
Do I need Visa to enter Czech Republic?
As you know, it changes quite often, so we will recommend that you contact the Czech embassy in your country.
Rehearsal
The church ceremony is long and complicated for me, and I am worrying that I will make a mistake. How can I avoid it?
Yes, you are right, church ceremonies are more difficult than civil ceremonies, and there are a few procedures that must be observed. The best way how to avoid these complications is to have a rehearsal. This is a general run-through before the ceremony, and we will tell you how everything flows, step by step, and you can try it with your guests together.
Terms & Conditions, Payment
What are the payment conditions?
The non-refundable deposit of 20 000,00 CZK is due upon the confirmation of the wedding ceremony and booking. The second payment is due appx. 6 weeks from the booking date and varied depending on the wedding package selected. The next payment installments come during the planning process. The full payment is due no later than 1 day prior the wedding date.
Testimonials
Can I get in touch with some of your past brides and clients?
Yes you can, and we highly recommend this to hear first hand about their experiences and our company! We have many brides worldwide which are more than happy to allow us to forward their email addresses to you. Please contact us, and we will give you a few contacts nearest to you. Also see our online testimonials here!
Travel Arrangements, Accommodation
Do you arrange accommodations locally or do I have to find the hotel myself?
We recommend allowing us to handle the accommodation of both the bride and groom and the guests in order to avoid any confusion and due to any possible language barriers with the local hotels in Moravia. Additionally, many locations accept cash only, so by booking though us, we can solve this incovenience for you and your guests. At each location you will find affordable Guest Packages that are for purchase by the guests!
Wedding Packages
What is the difference between wedding package and Tailor-made wedding?
The wedding packages are complete wedding packages designed for the bride and groom. They typically include a small ceremony and some more services. There are some extras available that are mentioned in each package. Tailor Made weddings are those looking for more than the traditional wedding package - such as a 4-day wedding event, or possibly a very exclusive location in the Czech Republic.
